英文摘要The development of novel absorbents for CO2 capture from flue gas is essential for addressing the challenges of climate change. Glucosamine, a natural product and prominent representative of the amino sugar group, has recently gained attention as a promising alternative to conventional absorbents for CO2 capture due to its potential economic and environmental benefits. In this study, experimental measurements of phase equilibrium, heat capacity, heat of absorption, and physical properties of binary and ternary systems of CO2, water, and amino sugar were conducted for both glucosamine and its acetylated form, N-acetyl-glucosamine. The obtained data were used to incorporate the glucosamine/water/CO2 material system into the Aspen Properties database. A material property package was developed to predict the equilibrium behavior and physical properties of the studied system. The experimental and predicted values were compared and analyzed to assess the accuracy and reliability of the created property package.
