Modeling Adoption of Sustainable Green Energy: An Integrated Approach Using FERA

英文摘要The need for a sustainable future and growing concerns about climate change have fueled the global push toward adopting green energy. This research presents critical success factors (CSFs) contributing to adopting sustainable green energies. This article outlines a portfolio of methodologies such as exploratory factor analysis, tradeoff analysis, evidential reasoning algorithm, fuzzy set theory, and expected utility theory for assessing the importance of the success factors of green energy. The study reveals that infrastructural development, research and development, green practices for procurement, and enabling advanced technologies are some of the most important factors contributing to green energy adoption in India. Furthermore, the study conducts a tradeoff analysis to determine the importance and changing behaviors of CSFs. Studying factors of green energy adoption empowers managers to integrate sustainability and renewable energy goals into their organizations' strategic planning, enabling informed decision-making, effective resource allocation, and long-term sustainability. The results of the tradeoff analysis bring out scenarios and the factors that require specific attention due to these unique scenarios.
