英文摘要 | The authors regret to inform readers about a minor error in the unit used in the abstract. The unit “megatonne (Mt)” should be read instead of “gigatonne (Gt)” in the following sentence: “Scaling aluminium production impacts to the global demand shows total emission between 1250 and 1590 Gt CO2 eq for baseline scenarios by 2050 while absolute decoupling is only achievable with stringent climate policy changing drastically the electricity mix.” In the rest of the article, figures and results are correctly presented in Mt. This oversight is therefore limited to the presentation of the abstract and has no bearing on the analysis and the conclusions of the study. The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused. © 2021 Elsevier Ltd |
