英文摘要 | We disagree the comment by Zyabrev and Abrajevitch (2020) because neither the data nor the ideas they presented are new. We stress that the diachronous closure of the Mongol–Okhotsk ocean should be highlighted, that the existence and timing of the Early Cretaceous Okhotsk oceanic plateau are sound, that the motion of the Okhotsk oceanic plateau towards the Pacific subduction zone is reasonable, and that an island arc bound by a Paleo-Pacific subduction zone since 140 Ma is highly probable. © 2020 Elsevier B.V. |
