| 英文摘要 | Various soil wedge structures have been studied in detail in sediments near Nizino Village (Leningrad region). Periglacial effects on the sediments that enclose, fill and underlie the wedges are inferred from their coefficients of cryogenic contrast which approach or exceed 1. Primary soil wedges, sand-wedges, and ice wedges formed as a consequence of frost cracking 15.5 kyr ago. The obtained results refute the seismic origin of the Nizino wedges. |
