英文摘要Soil geochemistry dynamics at snow disposal sites in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk city has been monitored since 2013 to evaluate the contents of elements and physicochemical properties of soil. The measured element contents were compared with the respective approximate permissible concentrations for soils and background values. Four soil samples collected in 2013 contained abnormal approximate permissible concentrations of Ni, As, V, Cu, and Zn. In 2017 the exceeded background characteristics on Cl-, SO2 4 −, Na+, Ca2+, Pb and the exceeded approximate permissible concentrations on Zn and Ni were obtained. Soils sampled in 2018 contained Zn, Ni, Pb, As, and Cu exceeding the approximate permissible concentrations. The results of chemical analysis of soil samples confirm the preliminary conclusion on the significant pollution of the urban environment in the area affected by snow disposal sites. © 2019 Academic Publishing House Geo.
