英文摘要Improved land use and management of cropland and grassland ecosystems can increase soil organic matter providing a significant sink (sequestration) of CO2 from the atmosphere, thus contributing to greenhouse gas mitigation. Improvements in quantification methods and providing economic incentives for “C-friendly” management are key to realizing mitigation potentials in the agricultural sector. © Springer Science+Business Media Dordrecht 2014.
